Asbury University Kresge Residence Hall
The three floor Kresge Hall offers suites style lodging. Each suite has two dorm bedrooms with 2 single beds in each and a shared bathroom with two sinks, a shower and a toilet. Several suites are clustered as a unit around a common living room area with tables and chairs. See floor layout below. There is no line of sight from one unit to the next, but within each unit there is a very limited sight from the common areas into the bedroom and bathroom area of each suite. With the Kresge layout, we suggest all attendees bring bathrobes. If you require a ground floor room, please indicate in the comment box on your registration form. Upper floors are accessible by elevator.
Reservations for Kresge are made through the CMI registration process. The cost per person is $26.00 per bed per night. For mothers with nursing babies, a limited number of single rooms are available at $30 per night.
- Lodging at Kresge does not include breakfast or linens, so please bring twin XL sheets, towels, pillows, etc.
- Lodging at Kresge comes with access to Luce Fitness Center/Pool.
- Kresge has two kitchenettes per floor that include a small range, microwave and sink. Though there are refrigerators in the dorm, the university usually locks them during the summer because they have many youth camps coming in/out of the dorms. Therefore, if you need to keep something cold, please bring a cooler. There are many local stores that sell ice.
You may view the inside of Aldersgate Apartments at this link: https://www.asbury.edu/student-life/housing/aldersgate/inside-apartment. Costs per person, per night is $36. Each apartment holds 4 people, 2 people per bedroom and 1 bathroom. Each apartment has a sitting area, kitchen area with refrigerator, stove and oven. However, the kitchen area will not be available for use.
Room and Suite Mates
Comment boxes to indicate your room and suite mate preferences are on your registration form. Every effort is given to honor room/suite mate preferences. Room/suite mate assignments will be done in May. We are sensitive to privacy issues and will put couples with other couples in a unit but will keep other units all female.
Registration for the general conference will be in the back lobby of Hughes Auditorium. Watch for signs. When you complete your general registration go to Kresge where you will be issued a key that requires a $10 deposit. This $10 will be refunded to you when you check out in the Kresge lobby and turn in your key. Dorm check out must be completed by 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 17, 2017.
