The Equatorial Jungle 1909
Plenary sessions feature one or more of the keynote speakers and are delivered to all conference attendees. Our plenary sessions will be held in Hughes Auditorium.
Conference Workshop Sessions
Workshops on a variety of subjects are provided by educators who have spent many years studying and implementing Charlotte Mason's philosophy of education.
The Wednesday and Thursday evening chats provide an opportunity to participate in an informal discussion about various CM related topics.
Putting It Into Practice
Every year we try to improve the conference and provide new ideas and fresh ways of preparing you to teach your students or children. For this year we wanted to make sure we have a time of “practice” of Mason’s methods. While these are isolated examples, please remember that Mason did nothing in isolation. These “Putting It into Practice” sessions are a simple and easy time for you to enjoy, see modeled and “do” the various opportunities to practice. For example, Shakespeare will be a time of reading Shakespeare. Dictation will be a time of practicing to read a dictation and to write a dictation as if you were a student. Come and practice Mason!
We will do our best to maintain the conference schedule. However, the schedule is tentative and could change due to things outside our control.
